Working with performance and the many challenges it poses in the matter of rights and ownership, of performance and composition, of the individual or the community, are at the centre of our concern. There are laws and policies that have been formulated to address some of these, including the Performers Right according to the Indian Copyright Law. This section provides some of these references.
